CasaTunes' cross-browser graphical interface provides home owners a simplified solution for selecting and controlling their music, using multiple wired or wireless browser-based devices, using Media Center displays and extenders and using our soon-to-be introduced CasaTunes keypads, throughout the home.

Whether you need our entry level CasaTunes XLi which supports up to six rooms or the advanced CasaTunes XLe which is expandable to forty eight rooms, CasaTunes can meet the needs of the largest installations. CasaTunes announces new Keypad

The new CasaTunes in-wall LCD Keypad completes our line-up of whole house audio distribution systems. The CasaTunes Keypads are specially designed to work with the CasaTunes line of multi-source/multi-room audio products: the CasaTunes XLi, CasaTunes XLe, and the CasaTunes XL Music Servers. The CasaTunes Keypad provides users an additional option to control their music from any room in the home.

Use the keypads to turn your music on or off, turn the volume up or down, switch between multiple sources of music, and advance songs easily. You can also change SHOUTcast^TM Internet Radio stations with the touch of a button. They also enable you to choose songs by album, genre or artist and add them to your queue.

The LCD screen is used to display the music source, song title, artist, album and play back progress information for the current song that is playing, as well as provide system feedback, such as whether this room has been setup to not be disturbed (DND), whether the keypad is setup as a master for the current Zone Group, whether the keypad is locked and does not accept key presses, or whether this room is scheduled to wake to music.

Up to six CasaTunes Keypads can be connected to each CasaTunes Keypad Hub, which in turn connects to a USB port on your CasaTunes music server. The number of keypads supported can easily be expanded by adding additional keypad hubs. The keypads connect to the CasaTunes USB6 Keypad Hub using standard cat5 (or better) cable and terminating each end using a standard RJ45 connector. Assignment of a keypad to a specific room or Zone Group is accomplished using the keypad menus, dramatically simplifying the installation process when compared to other products.

New app for iPhone and dealer promo

CasaTunes has released a new native application for the iPhone and iPod touch. The CasaTunes App for iPhone® is a feature rich app enabling complete wireless control of your whole house music system, including the CasaTunes XLi and XLe, as well as other popular multi-room hardware from Russound and Nuvo Technologies. The new App complements CasaTunes' existing cross browser interface and intelligent CasaTunes keypads

In responding to the growing popularity of the iPhone and iPod touch, we developed the CasaTunes App for iPhone to seamlessly integrate with CasaTunes providing homeowners the flexibility to select and play their music collections and radio anywhere in the home.

The CasaTunes App enhances and adds several new features including: new playlist management, better control over room and room group settings, advanced scheduling features, ability to see what is playing in different sources, customization of the CasaTunes App using images and photos and our favorite shake your iPhone or iPod touch to randomly select a new song in your playlist.
